"So I've been looking at the calendar," I said to Iris, "and we need to talk sometime soon about what you might want for your birthday."

"Bigger boobs," Iris replied, "I want you to take some of those clever nanobots of yours and get them to make my boobs a whole load bigger."

Right," I said, "here's the thing, the nanobots can't just make your boobs bigger, they've got to have some sort of raw material they can go and fetch from elsewhere and assemble in place. So if you want to have your boobs made bigger, you'll have to choose what to harvest."

"I don't understand what you're talking about," Iris said, "my brain just shuts down when you talk science like that. What is harvesting?"

"Well, if the nanobots want to increase the size of your boobs, they can only do that by collecting stuff from elsewhere and moving it into position where your boobs are. If you give up your leg, we can probably make your boobs substantially larger than they are now."

"I like the sound of that," she said, "substantially larger is exactly how I want them." She smiled, but then she looked up at me with a concerned expression. "I suppose this means you won't be able to dress me in a fishnet stocking any more. I hope that's not a problem."

"No, don't worry about it," I said, "I'm sure I'll learn to adjust. I'll just go and start writing the instructions for those nanobots."
